黃氏自小對演藝工作有濃厚興趣，在學期間積極參與校內外的話劇及音樂演出、比賽並獲獎，初中起隨啟蒙老師邱少彬學習二胡，其後隨張曉暉老師學習。黃氏於2010年加入香港女青中樂團，現任香港女青中樂團節目策劃兼拉弦樂聲部長，另亦為樂樂國樂團助理指揮。

William Wong has been interested in performing arts since childhood. He was actively participating in drama and musical performances when he was in secondary school and obtained several awards in competitions.He started learning Erhu under virtuoso Mr. Yau Siu-bun and then under renowned performer Mr. Cheung Hiu Fai. William Wong joined HK YWCA Chinese Orchestra in 2010 and he is now the programme planner and string section leader of HK YWCA Chinese Orchestra. He is also the assistant conductor of Yao Yueh Chinese Music Association.
